As a growing independent practice, Penny Hayler Psychology Ltd works with associate professionals, including psychologists and psychological therapists.

Would you like to be involved with a high-quality psychological service working across the East Midlands that is accessible, approachable and effective?

Would you like to work flexibly on a sessional basis?

Would you like support to develop your clinical expertise?

If you would like to discuss registering as an associate then please get in touch. I’m always happy to meet people looking to discuss or develop their independent clinical work.

What you will need to do:

Be registered as self employed and be responsible for completing self assessment tax returns with HMRC

Be registered with a regulatory organisation, such as HCPC, BPS or BABCP and adhere to their codes of conduct and ethics

Be registered with the ICO and be responsible for your own record keeping, in accordance with GDPR regulations

Demonstrate evidence of Professional Indemnity Insurance

How you will be supported:

You can expect direct referrals for assessment and psychological therapy, helping you to develop areas of clinical specialism

Administrative duties will be provided including setting up contracts, arranging and confirming appointments and liaison with referral agents

Invoicing and payment of client work can be handled for you

You can expect a frequency and volume of work to suit your requirements

We meet regularly to ensure support is available

You can make use of high quality premises for your client work in the East Midlands

You will receive work from an excellent network of referring agents, which we maintain close relationships with ensuring that referrals are appropriate
